Met up with Baby to attend the Taufik Album launch /Autograph session during the day. It was quite cool actually considering the fact i just saw him drinking at MOS 2 days before. Lolz Managed to get an autograph as well as a a picture for baby. Went to watch happy feet after that, and i have to say that it is definately a movie that is not to be missed! Rendesvous with Elliot and Michelle after that so that we could have dinner at Seoul followed by adjourning to Harrys bar for drinks!

Great Start to the Weekend!

Went off from work on the Dot Today so that i could head off to the China one's 2nd Year Anniversary and i have to say that the party was smashing! So sad that not many could actually make it but for those who made it just wanna say that it was great seeing yall!!!!! I was actually party skipping as well coz Lil P had invites to MOS... managed to see Taufik Hady and Sharon from Lush!! Haha Sharon is really Hot!

Went for Berni's house warming courtesy of invitation by Cassie.... and i can only say that it was one of the most fun experiences that i have ever had in a long long while. Made a lot of new friends along the way! Alex (Mad person)), Sunil (Who asked the police for some ice), Charmaine (who thought Elliot was messing with her Bf), Bernie (Who got us so much alchohol that we were instantly high) Also thanks to all whom whether there that i met but can't really remember the name. Thank god its friday!! Quite happy that the weekend is finally here but still a little worried that my performance appraisal is postponed till tommorow.. Well, anyway met up with Nick, Elliot and Lil sis for dinner at the Wisma Atria Foodcourt. The food was fantastic as usual. Guess what we actually bumped into Tammy and Mellissa! Cool gals... Young also joined us after that, walked around looking for stuff to do but ended up just roaming on the streets... lolzzz

Went out with baby to catch this Korean movie by Kim ki duk titled "Time". I personally felt that it was quite a good movie with a good plot and all. The only shortfall was that towards the end of the show, there seems to be a time paradox in the movie. Decided to go over to Vivocity after that which we saw people swimming in the wading pool...(yucks) as well as had our dinner at the asian kitchen. Would definately go there again. Met up with the rest after the whole thing for a drink(and not to mention to drop by the arcade so that Lara can show off her skills again). LOLZ

Went to watch Casino Royale with Lil P, Elliot, Nick & Charlotte. As despite the fact that i still think that Daniel Craig is unexceptionally ugly for a James Bond, The Movie is very good! It was really one of the best Bond movies that i have watched so far as it potrayed Bond during his early days (thus potraying some of his weaknesses and all). Before the movie started we actually went to the Cathay for a coffee drinking session and i would like to take time to specially honour Ms Charlotte as the new Tomb Raider, Lara Croft. Hahaha... if you are reading this Chalotte please do not hesitate to ask us why do we say so... but nevertheless, trust me that it is a good thing and both me and Elliot think you RAWK!!!!! Cheers! Another eventful day has passed! Was supposed to head to Balaclava with elliot and suzzane but due to the fact that it was superbly packed. We decieded to head on to Paulaner Brauhause upon to encouragement of Chung. I could only say that the beer was fantastic and the sausages were good. The Band was not bad too... except for one of the girls who can't really sing... There for Eye candy i suppose... lolz

Motorshow!

Popped by the motorshow at Suntec City today with Elliot, Lil P and Charlotte and i just have to say that it was absolutely fabulous! Too bad we did not manage to go in for the Russell Swift show. but nevertheless it was definately an experience to remember. Even managed to get a tour of the ferraris booth lead by Jun len. Really fantastic to say the very least. Would like to take this opportunity to thank Charlotte for initiating this whole outing. Cheers!

Finished work on the dot today so that i could go for a Charity event oragnised by Piper Heidseck and The Cathay. All thanks to Hilda, both i and Elliot were invited and we popped by at around 7.30pm. Quite fun actually loading myself with champagne.. haha Only catch was that we had to be dressed in pink for the party... arggghhh......

Met up with Elliot dude in the afternoon to settle our trailer recording... would not say that we completed it all but at least am proud to say that we have made progress in the area. Lil P also came to my house and we played Burnout revenge on my Xbox 360! Fun sia. Headed on to suntec shortly after that and we had so much food that we were absolutely stuffed! Oh well... Drink and be Merry!!!

D-Day

Yup, and thus concludes the 987 Control DJ Championships. Congratulations Desiree Sis, Told ya that you will nail it. Went along with the gang to celebrate Lil Ps bdae as well. We manage to make a Chip & Dale gift pack for Lil P! Well.... just wanted to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY LIL P!!! We all luv ya lots!!! hehe dropped by for drinks as well at esplanade... hmmm i better get some sleep soon... hafta record my trailer tomolo...

2 Movies and Loadsa Popcorn!

Spent the last 2 days watching movies with Lil P Elliot and Nurunz.... yesterday Baby joined us too. Here is my take on the 2 movies
Step Up: Excellent movie with a great cast (Eye candy factor) Good Plot, Good dance choreography and music. Definately one of the better movies that i have watched this year.
D.O.A : Non much of a plot and they sorta messed up all my fave characters (Hayabusa looked like a wimp, Hayate looks old, Kasumi looks bratty... Wtf) But i admit those were not the main factors i expected to see in the movie anyway. well.... please see if you are looking for Boobs, Butts and Legs... Till then... haha

Eventful Week!

So much actually happened the whole of last week, but i was just too darned tired and busy to blog about it. Recieved invites to go to a Maxim party at St James Power station on Friday. Was so tempted to go so as to cheer myself up. So i went anyway... and fun it really was! but heres the difficult lesson i learnt: Beer + Sadness + Empty Stomach = WASTED. Well maybe it was the fact that i downed 4 bottles of Barons in a go, maybe it's because i was still slightly dissapointed at myself abt the competition, maybe it was because i did not eat before that. But anyway, by the end of the night i was puking my guts out on the way to the KTV bar in Tanjong Pagar. Thank god for the gang to take care of me. Weekend was very tiring as i was working at the Subaru WRX Challenge as a Marshall, it was tiring of course. But at least i get a T-shirt this time. Till then. Cheers

Oh well..... after progressing from Round 1 all the way to 4 i finally got knocked out at the semi finals. In a way i guess i kind of expected it.. and i am also kind of glad that it was desiree who knocked me out. Any Regrets and uncertainties? I guess if there are any it will be that i am unable to meet desiree in the finals... and uncertainties being i am not really very sure where to guage myself in terms of performance. In any case i would like to thank everyone that have supported me all this while, you guys have made this experience a fantastic one for me. Love ya all!

Here is another 987 Control DJ Championships update. Yesterday was the quarterfinals for the championships and i made it again!! Yeh!!! So absolutely thrilled... Will be facing Sister Desiree in the semi-finals next. In fact i have been so immersed in all the work of coming up with an entertaining show that it has already become part of my life! Will be definately missing all of this when the competition is over. Anyway Below are some ppl i really want to thank:

Dad, Mum, Bro - I know that you will probably not read my blog (hahaha) but i just wanna say that i am very touched by the fact that you passed me your handphone and said 'vote for yourself ten times!' I was very amused and yet touched at the same time. Also for all the moral support... sometimes a simple 'good luck' can go a long way.

Celebrated Elliots bdae today at Billy bombers, it was nice to have such a light hearted moment with the gang. Have also always find it so amazing how we can make a meal out of Fries, Onion Rings and Garlic Bread! Felicia and the Gang tried to poison Elliots Drink too... Really glad to have such friends... Thanks guys for really bring the smiles into my life. Happy Birthday Elliot dude!

Rant...

I usually do not like accusing people of treating me badly, main reason because i like to give them the benefit of the doubt. There are times that i am really very tempted of just blogging my feelings down but somehow i just can't do it. But what the heck... I have going through a lot this few days, problems galore... problems with my competition, my job, my relationships, my financial status and all.. This really results in me turning to my dark side once again like before (yup... laugh all you want because of the star wars reference *&#$%) Anyway, I would just like to give a Big thanks to all that have been supporting me throughout this rough period of mine, Big Thank you to sister Desiree, Lil Sis Pearlyn, Partner in Crime Xue-er, G.Dots Joyce and others i may have missed for all your emotional support. You have absolutely no idea how much all your smses mean to me to the point that it breaks my heart to have to delete them so as to clear space for new sms. Of course to others like Grace, Lyd and all whom i may not have the time to meet up often but i believe that you do care. Also wanna thank my Baby for being able to stand my nonsense and packed schedule. As for people or 'Friends' who have so much time to send me msgs to scold me on trivial matters such as "Me Always hanging up phones on people." I can only say... you need a hobby... and i will try to accomodate to you your Royal highness so as to wait for your permission before i hang up the phone in future. Piss off!

Packed Weekend!!

Had a really bz weekend! After watching the Klazz brothers concert on friday.. decided to have Fong seng Nasi Lemak en route home. Woke up early the next day to prepare my weekend radio segment. Felt quite happy and glad that the person who was doing my Recording happened to be Carrie Chong!!! Hahaha... met up with the gang later and we had so much fun!! Luv yall!!

TCC 3rd Aniversary

Thank you BOSS!!!! haha boss did not want to go for the event today so i got to stand in on behalf for her. Not only did i not regret it, I enjoyed every single moment of it! the music was absolutely fantastic. If anyone has the time please do check out the Klazz brothers percussion group. Their music really rocks you to the soul. Not to mention there were loadsa celebs and ppl. Had a lot of fun there!!!

Long Week

It has certainly been a long week for me... was actually trying to find Don Richmonds EP coz i found that the song bent was very nice! But upon the recording of my liners did i found out from don himself that the CDs have been sold out last year. Craps.... Many unhappy things have happen last week actually.. I'm not gonna talk about it here but for those of you who have gave me your support. I seriously thank you... Oh well... off to brainstorm about tuesday!

The Balcony!

Managed to spend some quality time during the weekend with baby. Discovered a lot of good places to eat and chill out! Managed to watch 'Scoop' starring Hugh Jackman, Scarlett Johannson and Woody Allen. Really good Movie! Must watch!! had dinner at the Sakura buffet restaurant at somerset followed by chilling with Javern and Edwina at the Balcony Bar. Quite frankly it is the first time that i have been there but i will definately return again. Only downside about Balcony Bar..... Drinks are really damn expensive!!! and they did not have my Mojito! pooh! argghs... Till then! My next segment will be on October 10th from 7.00pm to 7.30pm... Remember to VOTE FOR ME!!!

Splendid weekend!

The week really started like crap.. (and i do mean the stinkiest kind) I really cannot understand the rationale for certain bosses to act this way. Well i guess, all bosses want what is best for themselves (note here: THEMSELVES and not the organisation) Is it a sense of insecurity from him thinking that the younger generation is a threat? or is it just pure ego? Quite frankly speaking i don't even wanna know. Anyway, i celebrated my birthday together with Javvy & Denise! Thanks everyone for the kind presents! I really love them! hehe.... also headed back to eskibar again. Met up with Sister Desiree, lil sis, Ivan and Elliot to Butter factory the next day. SOLID place i must say.. would mind going back again! wouldn't mind at all...

Finally got to meet up again with the gang!! Rushed off to Centrepoint after work to look for joyce to support her catwalk. Wow... all new singapore record sia... haha... after that we headed to NYDC and finally to Eski bar to literally chill. It was really cool to see everyone again after just 2 weeks. (Seems like a short period but everyone is missing one another i am sure) Eski bar was really cool and i wouldn't mind goin again!
