After too much dancing...

The Girls...

May Day!

Worked Late in the office yesterday, was supposed to meet up ith Jay and Lynn to go to zouk after that, but we underestimated the pre public holiday Mambo crowd! haha... the placed was realy swarmed with people as though there was a rock concert going on! Ended up going to Smoove at MOS instead. Managed to get ourselves a table on the corner away from the crowdand spent the evening drinking and dancing away! On a separate note Liverpool got knocked out from the Champions League... sianz man... But shan't rant too much about it, have more or less come to terms that in the football world anything can happen! Hehe.. Till then!

a Picture on 'The Dark Knight Viral Site.. Creepishly Cool...

Sushi + Kbox = Sushibox!

Oh well... that was a lame attempt at creating a funny header for my blog entry. Haha... Met up with the Gang to have dinner and some entertainment again. Grace & Shiqin needed to buy some stuffs for their Bali trip as well. Had Dinner at Sakae Sushi! It is actually the first time we ordered as if there was no tommorow! Managed to finish the food somehow before heading to Kbox for a singing session that had been postponed for a long time. Finally got my Kbox card too! Coolness.

On a Side Note, 'The Dark Knights' new trailer will be out in 1 more day. Clues were actually at one of the promotional viral site. Viral marketing.... the new trend.. wicked.

Becky, Javern, Me & and a whole lot of food!

Short post!

Met up with Javern and Becky for dinner and drinks today! Firstly it was Korean food at a food court located in the food court below Le Meridien Hotel. Have to really say that the food is rather good at a afforable price! Another place to consider for the satisfying of korean food cravings. Headed to Harrys to catch the early match between Man U and Chelsea after that. =)

A day of worry....

Went for Bernies Little Black Book event at the majestic bar initially. It was a nice place with good music and ambience, good to see some familiar faces as well. Recieved a phoneall from my dad shortly after my second drink, aparently my auntie went into a coma in the after noon suddenly and was sent to ICU for observation. Rushed there immediately to provide some emotional support to my auntie as well as her family members. I really admired my cousin (whos in Sec 2) for her courage and faith. While most people will be expecting her to be really upset and depressed about the situation her mum was in, she instead handled the situation calmly. It made me think about the times i was upset of small matters in life, surely it was not as bad as this? I hope everything will be fine, Will be praying for the safety and well being of my auntie.

A day of Suprises and learning...

Attended a course on sales negotiation as well as resolving resistance in clients. It was really interesting to be able to explore alternative methods when dealing with difficult clients. Lunch was a really interesting affair coz firstly not only was the food awesome, i actually bumped into Mr Koh, my primary school teacher! Well... Mr Koh was really a legend to most of us k... cos not only was he a teacher who taught the usual academic subjects, he counselled us a lot in our younger days as well. I joined him at his table and we had a long chat over lunch. He taught me something new today, He said:

'Herbert, If you care and love the people around you, it doesn't matter do they care the same way for you in return at all. In any dispute it doesn't matter if others forgive you because most importantly you must forgive them.'

It was really nice to hear from Mr Koh again lah... also if i may add, the chicken rice in M hotel can only be descibed as Damn nice!!! Must go try!!! Till then!

Warriors Orochi for PSP

Yehyeh... I know that that this game is probably out for quite some time already and i am probably one of the few 'Suakus' left in this world to have just discovered it. Read some of the reviews on Gamespot with regards to this game, not very encouraging reviews if i may add. But personally, i had been looking forward to a crossover of Dynasty & Samurai warriors for quite some time. Sometimes finding the resemblence is some of the characters rather interesting. (i.e Uesugi Kenshin & Xu Huang, Oda Nobunaga & Cao Cao, Yukimura Sanada and Zhao Yun) Just started playing it recently and for a Hack & Slash game, I find myself occupied for hours with it!
